MAINTENANCE PLANNER

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic individual to join our Company in the capacity of Maintenance Planner. The incumbent’s main responsibilities include development of training manuals, providing training and support on all systems, ordering parts, managing stock levels for entire fleet and planning maintenance of entire fleet to ensure aircraft reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and Coordinate Aircraft Maintenance
• Generate and Track Work Packages for Scheduled Tasks
• Ensure Compliance with Regulations
• Maintain accurate aircraft records and time controlled systems
• Assisting PRAM in managing Maintenance planning & Continuous airworthiness of Fleet
• Service and Record Upkeep of First Aid Kits/Spill Kits/ Survival Kits/Aircraft Hours
• Updating of Aircraft Hours
• New Aircraft Records (POH/AFM/ AOM's/Aircraft Onboard Library)
• Tracking of Snags
• Administration (as delegated)
• Assist with Regular Aircraft Audits
• Flight Folio Administration & Follow Ups
• Logbook Entries & Logbook Maintenance
• CAA Requirements, external audits and Internal audits
• Updating of Aircraft certification & AirMaestro Functions
• Assist in Data Capturing
• SB'S/ AD's Research
• Modification (STC) Research
• Calculation of Hours and Flight Folios
• Produce forecast for Scheduling maintenance and ensure accuracy
• Effective evaluation of and update of Systems on Computerized System per aircraft
• Reliable accuracy and delivery of documentation
• Generating and Monitoring Reliability Report

Requirements:

• Aviation Experience will be an advantage
• Advanced practical experience in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of CATS and CARS will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Tracking Program will be an advantage
• Individual needs to work effectively in teams;
• Work productively and achieve demanding deadlines;
• Willing to work after normal working hours from time to time;
• Familiarity with EASA/FAA & CAA Regulations, Maintenance Program and MEL Knowledge
• Experience with MRO Programs and Maintenance Control
• Proficiency with Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Web-based tools
• Fluent in Spoken and Written English & Afrikaans
