We are looking for ICT interns who will gain work experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Requirements
- Namibian valid driver's license
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA N+
- Enrolled in or recently completed Diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of hardware, software and networking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other common software applications.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Serving as the first point of contact for ICT support within the organisation.
• Assisting with installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
• Perform daily check-ups of internet lines and connectivity.
• Build and repair damaged computer and network components.
• Assisting with insuring that hardware’s, software’s and data are secured at all times.
• Assist in maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly.
• Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
• Train computer users on new systems by performing technical demonstrations to acquaint them with operational procedures.
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Assist with access card printing and user access control.
• Any reasonable related IT function required by the company
