Storeman
We would like for motivated, dynamic individual to join our Company in the capacity of a Storeman in Luderitz. You will be synchronising the warehouse inventory and procurement function with a multi-disciplinary team. You will play a key role in the Company’s business operations and will thus need a sense of urgency, a flair for detail and the ability to deliver in a deadline driven, pressured environment.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric (NQF 4)
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar or related field.
- Good working knowledge of computer programs and systems for entering data.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Forklift license.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Mathematical and recording abilities.
- Keen eye for detail.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage time efficiently and plan and take initiative.
- Loading and offloading of trucks.
- Implement meeting minutes every morning.
- Monitor daily courier dispatch, receiving and GRV’s.
- Communications via e-mail and/or other mediums.
- Check daily requisition list and incorrect requisitions.
- Receive parts and freight.
- Monitor purchase requisitions and processes.
- Report parts in question/discrepancies.
- Report incorrect and/or incomplete freight documentation.
- Adhere to Parts Division housekeeping.
- Issue parts and support the hangar Desks.
- Assist quality control with various tasks.
- Monitor core returns.
- Requisition completion, approvals and processing thereof accurately and timeously.
- Execute any other task / process requested by superior / directors.
